Panthers' swim relay breaks school record

TOPEKA – Great Bend’s 200-yard medley relay (2:00.11) finished 10th in the 5-1A state swimming championship with a school record time with Emilee Hall, Clarice Snapp, Ellyson Somers and Josephine Mazouch. 

The Panthers’ {400-yard freestyle relay (4:04.78) placed 13th with a season-best time with Mazouch, Braylee Carper, Somers and Hall at Topeka’s Hummer Sports Park.

The Panthers won seven events to capture last week’s Western Athletic Conference swimming championship.
