ST. JOHN 60, STAFFORD 14

STAFFORD — St. John quarterback Braxton Alpers was on fire with four rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns to Jace Reyes in a 60-14 victory over Stafford in 8-Man, District 6. St. John (3-4, 1-2) clinches a playoff berth while Stafford drops to 1-5, 0-4 District.

Alpers scored on runs of 4, 16, 17 and 42 yards. Reyes caught 6- and 33-yard touchdown passes. Aden Adame and Miguel Gonzales added rushing touchdowns. Juan Ibarra led the Tigers with three interceptions. The Tigers recovered two onside kickoffs.

Stafford's Dylan Brozek scored on a 44-yard run. Cody Knoche scored on a 19-yard run.
