 STAFFORD 72, CENTRE 41 --  Stafford's Pablo Diaz scored 21 points and Sam Lowther (14) and Jacob Simmons (11) scored in double figures as the Trojans roared past Lost Springs Centre 73-41 in Tuesday's non-league basketball game.

Pol Beltran Diaz grabbed 11 rebounds and had seven steals. Cody Knoche delivered five assists. The Trojans (2-3) converted 30 of 70 field goals.

STAFFORD GIRLS 41, CENTRE 39 -- Stafford's girls (2-3) stunned Centre 41-39 keyed by a 19-point third quarter.

Freshman Ariana Rodriguez scored 44 points and made the Falcon Classic All-Tournament team last week.

"Rylee Ferguson and Kya Conant are leading this rebuild in scoring," said Stafford coach Nick Minks. "They've helped our speed and toughness that we were missing."
