PRATT — St. John's 3-time state qualifier Quade Smith placed fourth at the Pratt cross country meet Oct. 4. South Barber's Joshua MacKinney (16:41.4) earned medalist honors. Stafford's Joel Valadez (18:13.6) placed sixth.

St. John (48) placed runner-up behind Pratt (29) with 11th-place Aaden Gonzales, 19:32.7; 13th-place Emmett Delp, 19:49.1; and 20th place Garrett Dunn, 20:33.9 finishing in the top 20.

Larned's Teagan Walker (25:06.4) placed ninth in the girls race. South Gray's Kylie Stapleton (20:23) was medalist.
