Ellinwood claims boys, girls titles at Sterling

STERLING — The Ellinwood High School girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams continue to rack up meet championships, winning at Sterling on Thursday evening.
The Lady Eagles finished with 35 points, topping second-place Pratt, which finished with 45.
The Eagles totaled 28 points to best Pratt-Skyline, which placed second with 57.
Pedro Montoya won the individual boys’ title with a time of 16 minutes, 22 seconds.
Kyle Oglesbee (17:29) took fourth, Morgan Feemster (18:15) placed seventh and Noah Leon (18:21) captured eighth.
Joanna Strecker led the Lady Eagles at 15:56 for third place.
Abbie Reichuber (16:31) also finished in the top 10, seizing seventh.
