Central Plains, St. John games will be broadcast

MANHATTAN — The Central Plains girls and St. John boys Class 2A quarterfinal basketball games will be aired live on the Internet through the Kansas State Activities Association and the National Federation of High School Networks.  
Games will be available at the web address (http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/channels/kansas)
The Central Plains girls (23-0) play Pittsburg Colgan at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Manhattan’s Bramlage Coliseum. Other first round games Wednesday will also be aired, Olpe against Meade at 4:45, Hillsboro versus Jefferson North at 6:30 and Ellis against Washington County at 8:15 p.m. Central Plains has qualified for state girls basketball 12 times, highlighted by Class 1A state championships in 2005 and 2006.
On Thursday from Manhattan, the St. John boys (23-0) and Washington County game will be available at 3 p.m. Thursday. Hillsboro and Olpe at 4:45 p.m. will also be aired.
Class 6A games to be aired will be the Maize girls against Blue valley North at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and the Maize boys versus Olathe East at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
Class 3A games to be aired will be the Nemaha Valley boys against Holcomb at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and the Nemaha Valley girls versus Caney Valley at 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
