WESKAN 61, PAWNEE HEIGHTS 39

ROZEL – Pawnee Heights led 33-25 at halftime, but Weskan (7-1) outscored the Tigers 36-6 after halftime for a 61-39 6-Man football victory Friday.

Davin Hamby rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown. He scored with a 32-yard scoring pass from Jimmy Gardner and caught a touchdown pass from Clayton Hammeke. Gardner gained 41 yards and scored a pair of rushing touchdowns. Leighton Munk caught a 60-yard scoring pass from Hammeke.

Munk intercepted a pass and Brady Carlson recovered a fumble. Alexis Ibarra contributed 10 tackles and Gardner nine stops.

Weskan quarterback Nick Cottrell passed for eight touchdowns and scored a rushing touchdown.

The Tigers (4-4) play at home against Southern Coffey (2-6) in Friday’s 6-man football playoffs. The Tigers would meet Chetopa (5-2) in the second round.
