Great Bend's soccer Senior Night was sailing along perfectly with Alex Alonzo converting a pair of goals for a 2-0 lead over Junction City.

The Bluejays (6-8) rallied with three consecutive goals for a 3-2 victory to spoil the Panthers' best performance of the season. The Panthers (2-12, 0-7 WAC) are eliminated from 5A postseason play for the second consecutive season.

Junction City's Jaden Exantus and Bruno Puche Ferrer scored for a 2-2 tie. Exantus was credited with the game-winning goal that glanced off a Panther defender for a heartbreaking loss.

Great Bend travels to Liberal (10-1-1) Oct. 22 and McPherson (7-6-1) Oct. 24 to end the regular season.
