Great Bend graduate Noel Rodriguez has been hired as the Great Bend Panthers’ girls soccer coach. Rodriguez earned All-Western Athletic Conference and Southwest Kansas and honorable mention all-state honors.

Rodriguez is a 2012 Great Bend graduate who served as captain of the 2011 soccer Panthers, who qualified for the 5A state soccer quarterfinals. The Panthers (15-4) earned the best record in school history as Western Athletic Conference runners-up. Great Bend won the 2011 Titan Classic and scored a team record 77 goals.

Rodriguez has coached for the Great Bend Middle School boys and girls soccer teams and has served as an assistant for the Great Bend varsity soccer boys. He’s coached club soccer for Panthers United and GBUFC.
