LAWRENCE — Great Bend's girls placed 14th (330 points) in the Gold Division of the Rim Rock cross country classic after graduating a gold-star senior class.
Panther senior Marissa Boone (20:01.4) placed 58th and improved her time by four seconds from 2023. She was followed by 67th Reese Bullard (20:11.3); 88nd Teegan Guerra (20:42.5) 90th Teah King (20:45.0); 93rd Sienna Smith (20:47.0) and 145th Kate Welcher (22:17.5).
Guerra improved her time by (2:36) and King by (1:49) from 2023.
Topeka Seaman's Ryan Miller (17:14.1) earned medalist honors followed by Salina Central's Kaylie Shultz (17:17.4) and Katelyn Rupe (17:20.3).
In the Crimson boys division, 125th Diego Pasos (18:36.6) was joined by 131st Isaac Aldana (18:40.5) 148th Anthony Lawrence (18:51.6); 151st Brogan Lashley (18:52.3) and 185th Parker Coleman (19:19.9).
Hoisington's returning state qualifier Kamden Tarlton was 13th medalist (16:58.4). Hoisington's 23rd Tianna Lutters (21:10.8) and 65th Tristin Compton (22:32.5) competed in the girls race..
