CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 44, SKYLINE 14 — Red-hot Aevyn Siemsen converted a trio of 3-pointers and scored 23 points to lead Central Plains past Pratt Skyline 67-23 in Thursday's non-league basketball game.

Oilers Marilyn Soeken added 16 points. Izzy Hurley and Grace Lamatsch each scored seven points. Skyline's Kooper Wesley scored 10 points.

CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 55, STERLING 27 — Central Plains freshman sensation Aevyn Siemsen converted six 3-pointers and scored a career high 22 points as the Oilers powered past Sterling 55-27 in Tuesday's non-league basketball game. Oiler Marilyn Soeken scored 18 points.

The Oilers (7-1) made eight 3-pointers to outscore Sterling 24-3 from long range. 

Sterling (0-8) was led by Chloe Garrett with eight points.

STERLING 64, CENTRAL PLAINS 38 — Red-hot Blake Smith scored 21 points and Boston Ekart capped a 19-point night with a slam dunk as No. 2A Sterling raced past Central Plains 64-38 in Tuesday's non-league basketball game. Sterling (6-2) outscored the Oilers 34-15 in the second half.

Brodie Crites led the Oilers with 21 points and Aiden Hekele added nine points.
