CLAFLIN — Central Plains clinched an 8-man Division 1 playoff berth with a dominating 46-0 victory over Canton-Galva in District 3. The Oilers (5-1, 3-0 District) drop the Eagles to 2-4, 0-3 District.

Oiler quarterback Brodie Crites was on fire with three touchdown passes and 215 yards to five receivers. Paxton Dody (49 yards), Eli Hurley (26 yards) and Aiden Hekele (35 yards) caught touchdown passes. Scoring rushing touchdowns were Hurley (2 yards), Joel Schreiber (3 yards) and Richard Stroud (16 yards).

The Oilers intercepted three passes to shut down the Eagles.
