WICHITA SUNRISE 55, CENTRAL PLAINS 30 (1ST) — Wichita Sunrise's Tomohito Kobari led a balanced offense with 15 points and six steals as the Buffaloes downed Central Plains 55-30 in Saturday's Russell Amos Morris championship game. Marko Pavlovic scored 11 points with eight rebounds.

Central Plains' Camden Stiles converted four 3-pointers for 12 points and Aiden Hekele added six points. The Oilers scored 21 of their 30 points on 3-pointers. The Oilers (3-1) led 16-13 after one quarter before getting outscored 42-14.

CENTRAL PLAINS 57, RUSSELL 42 —The Central Plains Oilers rolled past Russell 58-42 to qualify for Saturday’s Russell Amos Morris championship game against powerhouse Wichita Sunrise. The Oilers (3-0) outscored Russell in all four quarters.

Oilers Brodie Crites (20), Aiden Hekele (14) and Siemsen (15) scored in double figures. Russell's Landon Robinson and Pierce Schoenberger scored 10 points.
