CONWAY SPRINGS —Central Plains’ two-time 3-1A state runner-up Emily Ryan (16-0) stayed unbeaten by defeating Hesston’s Halle Krehbiel 8-1 and Conway Springs’ Karlee Osner 8-1 in Saturday’s Mid-Kansas triangular. Ryan has lost five games in 16 matches.

No. 4 state-ranked Central Plains defeated No. 3 state-ranked Hesston 6-3. No. 2 state-ranked Conway Springs defeated Central Plains 7-2.  Oilers No. 2 Bryanna Hammeke, No. 3 Kyla Metro and No. 5 Jennah Jeffrey won singles matches against Hesston.
No. 1 doubles Hammeke-Metro and No. 2 Zoe Potter-Jeffrey won matches against Hesston. Potter-Jeffrey also defeated Conway Springs at No. 2 doubles.
