BELOIT – Larned’s Legion baseball team (8-11) was eliminated at Friday’s Beloit Zone Tournament.

BELOIT 13, LARNED 6 (G2) – Beloit’s Wesley Adolph drove in three runs and Jerek Rexroat and Riley Hilt each drove in two runs to spark a victory. Beloit broke the game a 4-4 tie with an 8-run fifth inning.

Christian Mears delivered an RBI triple, Brodie Schroeder hit an RBI double and Lance Lundine, Rexroat and Adolph hit RBI singles in the fifth inning.

Larned’s Andres Martinez doubled in Carson Shaver, Tristan Regan and Ty Smith in a 3-run first inning. Mason Miller scored on a third inning error for a 4-4 tie.

Corbyn Nance singled home Miller in the fifth inning.  Nance scored on a seventh-inning error for a 13-6 final.

CONCORDIA 12, LARNED 1 (G1) – Concordia’s Braeden Primeaux singled four times, scored three runs and drove in two runs. Matthew Eubanks, Max Frey and Drake Blochinger each drove in two runs.

Concordia’s Frey and Chane Parker held Larned to three hits. Larned’s Tristan Regan singled in Carson Shaver in the first inning. Corbyn Nance and Camden Bird singled.
