LITTLE RIVER — Central Plains Oilers Eli Hurley and Joel Schreiber each scored three touchdowns to spark a 68-44 victory over Little River in 8-Man, District 3.
Central Plains (6-1, 4-0) plays Ell-Saline for the District 3 title at Claflin next week.
Hurley gained 123 yards, scoring on runs of 4, 4 and 35 yards. Schreiber gained 122 yards, scoring on runs of 4, 14 and 33 yards. The Oilers gained 350 yards rushing and 75 yards passing by Brodie Crites.
The Oilers were tied 36-36, but scored 32 consecutive points on two Hurley and two Schreiber touchdowns. The Oilers converted an interception and fumble recovery into 16 points.
Ty Janette caught two touchdown passes from Logan Renken, who scored a rushing touchdown for Littler River (5-2, 2-2). Kyler Bergkamp and Jaren Garrison scored touchdowns.
