HOISINGTON GIRLS 76, SCOTT CITY 65

HOISINGTON – Hoisington’s balance was brilliant with Jordyn Boxberger (16), Ellie Crawford (14), Kylee Hahn (14), Mallory Mooney (10), and Mollie Steiner (10) scoring in double figures as the Cardinals outlasted Scott City 76-65 in a wild offensive basketball opener. The Cardinals scored 19 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory.

HOISINGTON – Hoisington's Mason Martin scored 13 points and Tony Moore added 10 points as Scott City raced to a 50-38 non-league basketball victory over the Cardinals, playing with one week of practice.

Scott City's Sage Stoecklein (15), Jackson Rumford (13) and Alex Tarango (12) scored in double figures. Rumford dished out six assists. Tarango had five steals.
