Great Bend tennis competes at Dodge JV tournament

Great Bend’s No. 2 doubles Abby Muth-Elysse Ellis captured first place at the Dodge City junior varsity tennis tournament. No. 1 doubles Dinah Newman-Grace Dougherty placed runner-up.

At Lyons, Great Bend’s No. 1 doubles Audrey Muth-Katherine Snapp placed runner-up. No. 2 doubles McKenna Cape-Ruth Williams placed runner-up.

“This was a great opportunity to give some of my younger players experience,” said Great Bend coach Joseph Bliven. “They kept their heads up and played hard to bring home some medals.”

No. 2 singles—Nichole Griffin, 8th place
