WICHITA -- The Great Bend Bombers (10-4) won three of four games at the Wichita V-Tool Baseball Tournament.
BOMBERS 9, LENEXA 8 — Campbell Coleman drew a bases-loaded walk to force home Tony Moore with the game-winning run. Moore doubled and Carson Umphres and Brady Hope were walked intentionally to load the bases. Reliever Carson Shaver (1-0) yielded a tying run, but earned the victory.
Moore doubled twice and drove in two runs. Coleman drove in two runs. The Bombers scored in six innings and Lenexa scored in five innings.
Umphres scored on Coleman's first-inning single. Moore singled in Koehn Ribordy and Hunter Herrman in a 3-run second inning. Shaver scored on a bases-loaded walk.
Umphres scored on Josh Burdick's third-inning groundout. Moore scored on a fifth-inning error. Lane French scored on a Ribordy sacrifice fly. Shaver scored on a sixth-inning error.
Lenexa's Gus Keller and Ambrus Sharky each drove in two runs.
BOMBERS 8, SPRINGFIELD, MO. 2 — Umphres and Coleman each drove in two runs. Pitcher Herrman (2-0) struck out four batters in four innings. Reliever Ribordy struck out four batters.
Coleman scored on Owen Kaiser's second-inning single. Moore scored on Coleman's sacrifice fly to start a 3-run fourth inning. French scored on a wild pitch. Umphres scored on Ribordy's hit-by-pitch for a 4-1 lead.
French singled in Cooper Johnson to start a 4-run fifth inning. Umphres double in Herrman and French. Umphres scored on Coleman's double for an 8-1 lead.
Springfield's Ayden Cleveringa drove in a run.

Hunter Herrman scored on an error to ignite a 5-run second inning. Koehn Ribordy scored on a wild pitch and Moore scored on an error. Coleman singled in Lane French and Carson Umphres stole home for a 6-2 lead.
Umphres tripled home Moore and French in a 6-run fourth inning. Umphres scored on a groundout. Coleman scored on Carter Graham's single. Graham scored on Josh Burdick's single. Herrman scored on a wild pitch. Moore scored on a wild pitch for the Bombers 13th run.
LEE'S SUMMIT, MO. 8, BOMBERS 7 -- Lee's Summit's Logen McFerron drilled a 2-run homer off Jacobs to earn an 8-7 victory.
Third baseman Braydon Gant threw out Umphres at home on Burdick's sixth-inning groundball to preserve the victory.
A.D. Miller and Gant delivered RBI first-inning singles. Owen Kaiser singled in Moore and Graham's double scored French, Umphres and Ribordy for a 4-2 lead.
Lee's Summit's Wyatt Denney scored on a groundout for a 4-3 score. French scored on an Umphres' sacrifice fly for a 5-3 lead.
Miller scored on an error and Gant's RBI third-inning single tied it 5-5. Gant scored on a sacrifice fly. McFerron's homer brought home Wyatt Taylor.
Herrman scored on Cameron Eastman's fifth-inning groundout and Carson Shaver scored on a wild pitch for an 8-7 score.
