The Golden Belt Home Educators Arrows sponsored nine volleyball players who competed this fall. Senior Recognition Night recognized Emmersen Guthrie and Penelope Rugan who competed in volleyball for the first time. The Lady Arrows junior varsity and junior high ended their season Oct. 19.

Four Golden Belt athletes were invited to compete with the Reno County Sabres high school level football team coached by Lee Smith.  The Reno Sabres sponsor middle school, junior varsity and varsity level football teams. Senior Brecken Guthrie started at wingback and defensive back. He competed in the Pride of Kansas Football Program in Great Bend.

Several runners competed with Ellinwood in cross country program. Others have participated in tennis and golf.

The Arrows offer a bright future who are participating in sports they love while being schooled at home.

The junior high and high school basketball season will start in November.
