Golden Belt Arrow Jack Hembree jumps to start the ballgame.

The Golden Belt Arrows held off the Smoky Valley Home Educator Eagles 52-45 in their final home basketball game. The Arrows built a 14-point lead and grabbed 41 rebounds.

Jordan Kitch scored 22 points with a pair of 3-pointers and seven assists and five steals. Also contributors were Beckim Neidenthal (18 points), Ryan Knop (9), Landyn Weets (3) and Jack Hembree (8 rebounds).  

LADY ARROWS – The Smoky Valley Home Educators edged the Golden Belt Lady Arrows 20-16. The Arrows led briefly before the Eagles sealed the victory. The Lady Arrows contributed 13 steals and three blocks.

Kanyon Guthrie scored six points and Kinley Stos grabbed nine rebounds.  Kaye Byers (3 points), Stos (3), Sonora Fisher (2), and Brooke Barton (2) contributed.

The Arrows teams compete at the National Division 2 Christian Homeschool Tournament Feb. 29-March 2.
