STAFFORD – No. 3 ranked 1A Macksville placed four players in double figures to power past Stafford 65-51 in Friday’s non-league basketball game.

Macksville (6-0) placed Rogelio Ibarra (15), Diego Esparza (13), Ryan Kuckelman (11) and Lance Lickiss (10) in double figures. Kuckelman grabbed 12 rebounds and passed out six assists. Esparza had five steals.

ELLINWOOD – Ellinwood all-stater Britton Dutton scored 24 points with five steals and five assists to power the Eagles past Ellis 65-7 in Friday’s non-league basketball game. The No. 4 ranked 2A Eagles (6-0) sped to a 33-0 halftime lead.

Mason Moore added 12 points. Koy Behnke and Drew Heinz each had four assists.

All-league Brittany Simpson scored 19 points and Bella Baker added 12 points for the Eagles (4-2).

Carlson made 12 of 13 free throws and Hamby converted four 3-pointers for the Tigers (6-1, 1-0).

Minneola (3-2) was paced by Eli Lang with 18 points and Jesse Smith with 16 points.
