Kendall Grippin (14) and Nolan Adams (13) scored in double figures. Hector Gomez grabbed 10 rebounds.

Ellinwood (5-4, 3-1 CPL) was paced by Landon Simpson with 20 points.

ELLINWOOD GIRLS 65, MACKSVILLE 42 — Ellinwood's girls converted 10 3-pointers for a 49-point second half for a 65-42 Central Prairie League basketball victory over Macksville. The Mustangs led 17-16 at halftime.

Reese Stickney sparked the 3-point barrage with four 3-pointers and 18 points. Bennett Jacobs contributed a trio of 3-pointers and 13 points. Five Eagles made 3-pointers.

Macksville's Isabela Ortiz scored 14 points with four steals. Daniela Reyes scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Ava Chadd dished out four assists.
