Cardinal runner places first at Herington

HERINGTON – Hoisington’s 3-time state qualifier Kamden Tarlton (10:08.98) stayed red hot with a first-place finish over two miles at Thursday’s Herington cross country meet. Tarlton has placed 20th, 22nd and 43rd at 3A state meet.

Hoisington finished third (55 points) behind fifth-place medalist Brody Rossman (11:10.46) and eighth-place medalist Jasper Pawlowski (11:35.51).

Hoisington’s Tianna Lutters (12:56.48) was third medalist and teammate Tristin Compton (13:09.26) was seventh medalist.
