LARNED — Larned’s Eli Kelty (10-6) captured the pole vault at Friday’s Larned Track Invitational. Larned's James Seeman (135-9) won the discus.

St. John’s Quade Smith won the 800 (2:04.46) and the Tigers won the 3,200-meter relay (9:04.43) with Jace Reyes, Aaden Gonzales, Braxton Alpers and Quade Smith.

Stafford’s Joel Valadez won the 3,200 (10:49.28).

Runner-up medals were earned by Larned's 400-meter relay (45.59) with Hunter Pontius, Lane Elam, Grady Pinkston, Cade Colglazier; St. John's 1,600-meter relay (3:37.13) with Jericho Mawhirter, Jace Reyes, Braxton Alpers, Quade Smith; and Otis-Bison's Gavin Alloway, long jump (20-101/2).

Newton’s boys (194) and girls (166) won the team titles. Larned’s girls (91) placed runner-up and Larned’s boys (79) finished third.

GIRLS DIVISION — St. John’s Lydia Reed won the 800 meters (2:29.35).
