We are being held hostage by the Democratic Party
Public Forum.jpg

To the editor:

I think that while most of us have been aware for quite some time that our country is in trouble, more and more of us are becoming aware that most of these problems have been created by the Democratic party.

I am 82 years old and have watched the evolution of our country for a long time; from the time when we were very stable and the unquestionable leader of the free world through the weakness and instability of today’s society.

I believe that many of our problems started many years ago with the Johnson administration and escalated very quickly under Obama. Almost everything is worse today than it was when Obama was elected in 2008. This includes our economy, our status in the world order, substance abuse, mental illness, pornography, poverty, and ironically enough, racism. In fact, I can think of nothing that is better today than it was in 2008.

Why is this true?

I believe that Obama and several very wealthy socialists, who were posing as Democrats, united in an effort to take over and control America. Obama was smart enough to know that so many patriots loved our freedom and way of life that this would not be an easy task, rather a long-term project requiring a long-range plan. They began by buying positions in every important institution of American society: Congress, education, the major media, the military, the court system, local politics, the corporate and energy sectors, the FBI and CIA to name a few. After eight years, they had their organization in place and it was up to Hillary to begin to implement the nuts and bolts of the takeover. The election of Donald Trump slowed the process, but with Biden in office, the orchestrators of the movement pulled out all the stops.

Divide and conquer has been the order of the day; BLM, Antifa, Critical Race Theory, defunding the police, ridiculous gender identification and biological males competing in women’s athletics. Other destructive policies have also been initiated, allowing unrestricted immigration, reduced oil production; mandates against trucking; and teaching inappropriate sex education in our schools.

The thing is however, Obama and his comrades underestimated the resilience and strength of the American people. The trillions spent on all the lies and misinformation of this campaign have caused our society to bend almost to the point of destruction, but we have not broken. We are still a Democratic Republic; we are still the United States of America.

Make no mistake, we are continually under siege. We are being threatened with planned, self-imposed inflation along with food and energy shortages. We are being forced to consider widespread use of electric vehicles and other green energy sources that we are not technologically ready for. None of these things have anything to do with what is good for our country; they are all about control of the American people.

For the last year or so, I have thought that the Obama-led revolutionists would succeed and in the near future we would become a socialistic or communistic country. But the tide has begun to turn; the majority of the American people are finally understanding what is happening and by responding with typical American courage, sacrifice and resilience, will weather this storm. Do not doubt that this is an all-out war against the American way of life; certainly, the most serious threat to our country since World War Two.

We will persevere and hopefully learn a lot in the process. Enough to not let something like this happen again for a long, long time.
