My name is Pam Wornkey and I was the Barton County Register of Deeds from 2013-2023.

When I decided to retire, I knew that Glennda French would be the best choice to fill the position.

Over the course of three years, I had the pleasure of watching Glennda go from clerk to deputy, to Register of Deeds.  She has always conducted herself in a respectful and professional manner.

Since taking office, Glennda has made changes to the Register of Deeds office that have greatly benefited Barton County.  A records notification system has been implemented, an online records search is now available and passport photos can now be taken at the time your application is submitted.

Glennda’s dedication and commitment to Barton County is exemplary.  I am so proud of her accomplishments, and I am confident in her ability to continue leading this office in the right direction.

I strongly encourage you to vote for Glennda French for Register of Deeds in the upcoming election.  Her forward thinking will continue to lead Barton County in a positive direction.
