Sherry Ann (Dreher) Trevino

LARNED — Sherry Ann (Dreher) Trevino, beloved daughter, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away March 28, 2025, in Wichita, Kan. at the age of 49. She was born on April 12, 1975, to Victor and Sue (Barragree) Dreher in Great Bend.

Sherry married Felipe Trevino April 29, 2018, in Larned. She was a devoted CNA/CMA at Diversicare and for 17 years, dedicated herself to caring for others with compassion and grace.

Sherry’s life was marked by her unwavering love for her family, her church, and her dogs. She had a special bond with her cousins Lori, Robin, and Dena, as well as her aunt Judy Barragree Folsom. Summers spent at the family farm in Kingman and Turon hold special memories of fishing, laughter, and love. Sherry’s love for animals was evident in her nurturing and compassionate nature. She found joy in spending time outdoors, basking in the beauty of nature. Her sunny disposition and infectious laughter brought light to all those around her. Sherry’s kindness, laughter, gentle nature, and radiant smile endeared her to everyone she met. 

In her community, Sherry’s warm presence and caring spirit touched the lives of many. She was a pillar of strength and generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Sherry’s dedication to her work and her unwavering faith in Jesus left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Sherry is survived by her husband, Felipe Trevino; sons, Tanner Stevens and Dakota Stevens; daughter, Sydney Stevens; granddaughter, Ila Erin Stevens; she also leaves behind a close-knit circle of aunts, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and father of her children, Lance Erin Stevens.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Sherry’s life will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Solid Word Ministry, located at 242-A US-281, Great Bend, Kan., with Pastor Mark Williams presiding. In leu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Sherry Ann Trevino Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
