Robert ‘Bob’ William Gordon, 74, passed away March 13, 2025, in Great Bend, Kan. He was born Nov. 28, 1950, at Great Bend to David and Rose (Mengucci) Gordon.
Bob served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He came back to the area and worked for GBI as a Machinist for over 30 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Survivors include son, Eric Gordon of Great Bend; daughter, Tasha Pfizenmaier and her husband Troy of Clay Center; grandchildren, Tanner Pfizenmaier and Trista Pfizenmaier; great grandchild, Wrenley Pfizenmaier; and sister, Sheila Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John Gordon.
Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Great Bend Cemetery, with Reverend Daniel Vandenburg presiding and military honors provided by the United States Navy Guard.
