Mary Ann Titus passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021. She was born Oct. 3, 1932 in Norton, Kan. to her parents Richard and Sibyl Arbuthnot. Her early years were spent growing up in Ellinwood, Kan. graduating high school then attending the University of Kanas as a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. 

In 1951 she married Harold Titus and began her love of farm life and raising a family of five children, Richard, David, Jeff, Margaret and Steve. 

She loved helping with harvest, reading, KU basketball, traveling, her dogs, watching Jeopardy and spending time with grandchildren. 

Mary Ann and Harold were married for 32 years until his passing in 1984. After some time, she moved to Lakeview Village retirement community in Lenexa, Kan. where she enjoyed making new friends, playing cards or attending an occasional KC Royals game. 

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Richard; and infant granddaughter, Sarah Pohl. Survivors include brother, RB Arbuthnot; children David (Laura), Jeff (Margaret) and Steve (Stephanie); 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Great Bend Humane Society or charity of one’s choice. Graveside service 1 p.m. Friday April 23 at Great Bend Cemetery, 4500 Broadway, Great Bend, KS 67530.
