CLAFLIN — Marleen Cassie (Shannon) Davison, 39, Nov. 28, 2024, in Claflin, Kan. She was born Nov. 20, 1985, in Wheatridge, Colo. to Michael DeCesare and Kathleen “Katie” (Shannon) Houp.
Cassie married Kevin Davison February 17, 2010. They moved to Great Bend Nov. 7, 2017. She previously worked for Benefit Management Incorporated. She kept very busy owning and operating a rentals management company, The Dog House Bar, keeping the books for her husbands’ construction business, traveling, and going to her son’s activities. She loved spending time with friends and family and going to the lake every summer. Cassie was very creative and loved to create many crafts. She had a big heart and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Davison; four sons, Devin Ray Davison, Mason Ray Davison, Ethan Ray Davison, Brayden Ray Davison; mother, Kathleen “Katie” Houp; step father, Gary Houp; father, Michael DeCesare, and her beloved Great Danes. She was preceded in death by brother, Michael Colin Shannon.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, at The Dog House Bar, 5609 Oil Center Rd. S., Great Bend, KS 67530. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
