GREAT BEND — Mark Alan Rosenberg, 64, died on July 16, 2017 at Great Bend Health and Rehab after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born Oct. 4, 1952, in Phillipsburg, the son of Verlyn and Lillian Rosenberg. He married Debra Rosenberg in 1980; they later divorced. A Great Bend resident, Mark worked for his parents at Rosenberg Engine Service Inc. and later purchased “the shop.”
Survivors include his mother, Lillian; two sons, Shawn Rosenberg (wife Sally), and Micah Rosenberg; a daughter, Amber Todd (husband Jason); two brothers, Rex Rosenberg (wife Jinnie), and Neil Rosenberg (wife Carolyn); two sisters, Joyce Rosenberg VanCamp, and Kay Cook (husband David); five grandchildren, Kristi Weiser, Lucas Rosenberg, Alyssa Rosenberg, Amelia Todd and Linus Todd; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Verlyn, his sister Barbara Casey (husband Tim), and brother Douglas Rosenberg (partner Helen).
Cremation has taken place. An open house celebration of his life will be held at his home on Saturday, July 22, from 2-5 p.m.; BYOB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mark Rosenberg Memorial Fund, c/o Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home.
