QUINCY, Ill. — Marilyn “Anne” Ochs, age 77, of Quincy died on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. in Sunset Home. Anne was born in Iola, Kan. on Oct. 1,1945, a daughter of Cody and Marie (Riedel) Ochs. 

Professionally, she was a Banker beginning her career in 1972 with Intrust Bank of Wichita, Kan. from where she retired on Oct. 1, 1995.  

She attended Mount St. Mary’s Convent in Wichita, Kan. and St. Mary of the Plains Boarding School in Dodge City, Kan. and Hoisington High School in Hoisington, Kan. where she was raised.

Anne was a member of the Church of St. Peter in Quincy. 

Anne had lived in many places, including Bethany, Okla., Moscow, Idaho, Carson City, Nev., Wichita, Kan., Mexico, Mo., Denver, and Loveland, Colo. and Quincy, Ill. When her boys were youths, she served as a Cub Scout Den Mother. Anne sang in various church choirs and in her free time she liked doing crafts. 

She is survived by her sons, Anthony J. McDowell and Andrew Martin Funk. A grandson, Jacob A. Bell; one brother, Darrell Wolf; two sisters, Susan M. Engelhart and Nancy Shackelford; son-in-law, John C. Berrey  and daughter-in-law, Diem Tran. Anne was preceded in death by her parents; and brother C. Joseph Ochs.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 12 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Quincy, Ill. Visitation will be held Monday morning from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Hoisington, Kan. at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Quincy Catholic Charities. LITTLETON, Colo. — Terry Lee Delp, 78, of Littleton, Colo. passed away April 6, 2025 at his home. He was born Oct. 20, 1946 in Great Bend, Kan. to Jonas Brown and Lenora (Parker) Delp.

Terry grew up in Lenora, Kan. and was a 1964 graduate of Lenora High School. He went on to receive an associate’s degree from Hutchinson Community College and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wyoming. He played basketball for the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons and the Wyoming University Cowboys. Terry served for the United States Army from 1968-1970. He was a Vietnam Bronze Star Recipient. Terry married Christy Lyn Campbell on May 5th in 1968. He worked as a project manager for Lockheed Martin. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and drag racing and was a member of the VFW in Littleton, Colo.

Terry is survived by his sisters, Sandra Dunavan of Derby, Kan. and Lenora Cook of Garden City, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonas and Lenora Delp; wife, Christy Delp, and brother, Jonas Parker Delp.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2025 at the United Parish of Lenora. Burial with military honors will follow in the Lenora East Cemetery.
