LARNED — Lucille Ann Sickles, 58, passed away Sept. 6, 2017, at her home in Larned. She was born Feb. 20, 1959, in Kinsley, the daughter of Augustine and Trinidad Perez Ruiz Jr. A lifetime area resident, she worked in home health care. On May 22, 1985, she married Jeffrey W. Sickles in Great Bend. He survives.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned.

Other survivors include two daughters, Ashley T. Garcia and Hailey M. Sickles, both of Larned; three brothers, Robert A. Ruiz and Richard Ruiz, both of Wichita, and John C. Ruiz of Great Bend; two sisters, Theresa Wright of Larned, and Rosey M. Weisensee of Wichita; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Robert F. Ruiz.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Lucy Sickles Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
