Kimberly Kay (Suchy) Bainbridge, 45, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. She fought a courageous battle against cancer for four years.
Kimberly was born Feb. 20, 1975, in Great Bend the daughter of Rick and Kay Suchy. She was united in marriage to Gary Bainbridge June 27, 2009, in Great Bend.
Kimberly was a lifetime resident of Great Bend and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, physical fitness, the sand dunes and lakes. She loved spending time with her son Brodie and her niece Hayley and nephews Braxton, Caylon and Darin.
Survivors include her husband, Gary and son, Brodie both of the home; her parents, Rick and Kay Suchy of Great Bend; one brother, Aaron Suchy and Tierney Mermis of Great Bend; one sister, Nikki Munsch and husband Rick of Great Bend; one niece, Hayley Suchy; and three nephews, Braxton Love, Caylon Munsch and Darin Munsch.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with vigil service at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, all at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Don Bedore presiding. The family requests those in attendance to wear masks and social distance. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
