Gregory Alan Irving, 62, passed away Aug. 27, 2022, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born on Aug. 12, 1960, at Philadelphia, Penn. to Henry and Gertrude (Sullivan) Irving. 

A longtime resident of Great Bend, Gregory was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed building computers, working on cars and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved family get-togethers, especially the 4th of July.  

Survivors include, his children, Matthew Irving, Richard Irving and Alisha Kitterman all of Great Bend and Cory Kitterman of Larned; three sisters, Gloria Orebaugh of Ellinwood, Sandra Byington of Great Bend and Carol Henson of Hutchinson; a step brother, Detlef Snyder of Iowa; and step sister Barbara Stoffel of Iowa; and a grandson, Richard Irving. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a step sister, Monica Smith. 

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at the Hoisington Cemetery with Pastor Ken Gray presiding. Memorials have been designated to the Gregory Irving Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
