Donna Lea (Wesley) Fanshier

Donna Lea (Wesley) Fanshier of Great Bend, Kan., passed away peacefully in her home on June 4, 2024. Donna was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Great Bend, Kan., daughter of Pete and Ruby (Grizzle) Wesley. She married Joe Foelgner, Jr., in 1950, in Clayton, New Mexico. They later divorced. Donna wed George Harvey Fanshier June 2, 1975, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He passed Feb. 24, 2011.

Donna was a member of the Central Baptist Church and was known as the longest running member of Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed traveling and enjoying the sights. Donna was extremely talented in crafts and made gorgeous velvet roses and decorative recycled jewelry Christmas Tree pictures. She will be missed and remembered for her excellent culinary skills. She loved her family and animals deeply.

Donna is survived by son, Brent Foelgner of Great Bend; her beloved Shih Tzu, Suzie, and many nephews and nieces. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Jack Merryme and Verlie Merryme.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, with Chaplain Jeff Johnson presiding. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. LITTLETON, Colo. — Terry Lee Delp, 78, of Littleton, Colo. passed away April 6, 2025 at his home. He was born Oct. 20, 1946 in Great Bend, Kan. to Jonas Brown and Lenora (Parker) Delp.

Terry grew up in Lenora, Kan. and was a 1964 graduate of Lenora High School. He went on to receive an associate’s degree from Hutchinson Community College and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wyoming. He played basketball for the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons and the Wyoming University Cowboys. Terry served for the United States Army from 1968-1970. He was a Vietnam Bronze Star Recipient. Terry married Christy Lyn Campbell on May 5th in 1968. He worked as a project manager for Lockheed Martin. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and drag racing and was a member of the VFW in Littleton, Colo.

Terry is survived by his sisters, Sandra Dunavan of Derby, Kan. and Lenora Cook of Garden City, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonas and Lenora Delp; wife, Christy Delp, and brother, Jonas Parker Delp.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2025 at the United Parish of Lenora. Burial with military honors will follow in the Lenora East Cemetery.
