Bradon Lee Brack

Bradon Lee Brack, 44, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023 in Glendale, Ariz. Bradon was born Dec. 9, 1978 in Great Bend, Kan., the son of Brenda Suiter Brack and Brad Brack. 

Bradon was a Great Bend High School graduate and a resident of Great Bend until 2002 when he moved to Arizona. 

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Brack; his father, Brad and his wife RaeAnn Brack; one daughter, Chandi Marissa; two sons, Bradon Bradley and Asher Lee and grandmother, Joyce Suiter. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joan and Bill Kephart and Lee Suiter; paternal grandparents, Edward and Virginia Brack and a sister, Chandi Lee Brack. 

Bradon was known for his witty one-liners and a joy to be around. He loved life and being around people. He loved his family above all else, even through difficulties and struggles. 

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Bryant Funeral Home 1425 S. Patton Road, Great Bend, Ks. 67530. Dorothy Marie Vail Werner, born to Allan P. and Katherine Marie (Phillips) Vail on August 23, 1938, passed away on March 1, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Robert B. Werner, until his death in 2017. 

Dorothy was a loving mother to her two children, Deborah Werner (Kent) Dietz of Davis, Oklahoma, and Julie Werner (Kevin) Kramp, of Great Bend, KS. 

Dorothy also leaves behind three grandchildren: Justin Kramp, fiancée Kathleen Gier of Mission, KS; Jennifer Kramp Andersen and husband Scott Andersen of Ellinwood, KS; and Kohl Kramp of Ellinwood, KS. Dorothy was a proud great-grandmother to Jillian, Caroline, Audrey, and Hudson Kramp, and Elise and Kai Andersen. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. Charles D. Vail & wife Jeanne of Littleton Colorado.

Dorothy served as director of Ourselves & and Our Families, the coalition for the prevention of child abuse, in Great Bend, for several years, and was a lifelong advocate for children. 

Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, particularly poker and bridge, and made many good friends wherever she went. She was previously involved with the Petroleum Club of Great Bend and Lake Barton Ladies Golf Association, serving as president, and enjoyed the golfer’s bowling league. She participated in various charitable boards in Great Bend. Dorothy loved life and was known for her warmth and kindness.

Memorials are to be made to the Town Village Employee Fund, 4400 West 115th Leawood, KS 66211; or the donor’s local homeless shelter or food bank.
