Beverly Helen Partridge 1932 - 2013
HAYS — Beverly Helen Partridge, 81, passed away June 11, at Hays Medical Center. Born May 18, 1932 in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Ephreum W. and Millie Rosalea (Horine) Ward. On May 28, 1952, she married Russell Ray Partridge. He preceded her in death Nov. 22, 1997. Russell and Beverly owned Partridge Trash Service in Great Bend for many years. Beverly retired from The Fuller Brush Company.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Manley of Hoisington, and Patricia Wolf of Hays; a step-daughter, Barbara Ann Hansen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Dennis Wolf (Kandi) of Great Bend; a brother, Edgar “Ed” Ward of Chase; two sisters, Marilyn Gilmore of Iola, Texas and Diana Sybil Wehling (Rodney Fredrick) of Great Bend; seven grandchildren, Raymond Wolf (Tonya) of Great Bend, Beverly Lang (David) of Andover, Debbie Swafford (Bryan) of Manor, Texas, Dawn East of El Campo, Texas, Chris Hansen of San Antonio, Texas, Bobbi Jo Manley of Las Vegas, Nev., and Vicki Manley of Hoisington; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Partridge; a step-son, Dan East; four brothers, Kenneth Lynn Ward, Larry Dean Ward, LaVern Ward and Leonard “Buddy” Ward; four sisters, Frances Brown, Hazel Turley, Margaret Krom and Betty Jean Ward; and a son-in-law, Don E. Fosdick.
Celebration of Life services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Rose Auditorium in Great Bend. Memorials are suggested to the Barton County Relay for Life. Condolences may be sent to the family by guest book at www.keithleyfuneralchapels.com or emailed to keithley@ruraltel.net
