Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had four ambulance runs Monday. Firefighters were called to a residence fire at 1610 Odell St. at 9:16 a.m. Monday. Upon arrival, it was observed fire from the attic had filled the main floor with smoke. Firefighters were able to access the attic from the main floor to contain and extinguish. The scene was cleared at 11:07 a.m. No injuries were reported.

A battery was reported at 8:41 a.m. Monday at Brit Spaugh Park, 2201 Main St.

A non-injury, two-vehicle crash was reported at 12:09 p.m. at 10th and Washington.

A non-injury, two-vehicle crash was reported at 2:38 p.m. at U.S. 281 Bypass and Frey St.

A non-injury, two-vehicle crash was reported at 3:32 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary, 2716 24th St.

A non-injury, hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:39 p.m. at 2703 Forest Ave.


Barton County Sheriff

A sex offense was reported at 8:35 a.m. Monday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:27 p.m. at NE 20 Road and Sunset Road, Barton County.
