Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had 10 ambulance runs Wednesday, Nov. 22. There were six ambulance runs Thursday, four Friday, six Saturday and six Sunday.

Firefighters were called to a gas leak in the 1400 block of Holland at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at 5:33 a.m. Wednesday at Fuller Industries, 15 SW 40 Ave., Great Bend. Firefighters arrived to find a fire outside of the building due to a wiring fault in the heating system. Gas was shut off to the heating unit and firefighters completed a spot check that included the roof of the building.

At 4:04 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak at the 300 block of Washington. No gas was detected. 

At 11:14 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 1000 block of Maple.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:01 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A domestic incident was reported at 7:38 p.m. at 3620 22nd St.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 11:21 p.m. at 5613 Eisenhower.

A domestic incident was reported at 2:44 a.m. Thursday at 2432 Cheyenne Drive.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:59 a.m. at 1415 Morphy.

A K-9 callout at 202 p.m. was utilized for the Hoisington Police Department at the 500 block of N. Main in Hoisington.

Domestic incidents were reported at 7:54 and 10:18 p.m. Thursday at 2432 Cheyenne Drive.

A gas leak/spill was reported at 4:03 a.m. Friday at Quivira Ave. and 31st St.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:54 p.m. at 2515 Broadway.

A narcotics violation was reported at 3:51 p.m. Saturday at 24th St. and Dove Terrace.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:28 a.m. Sunday at Kwik Shop, 3907 Broadway.

A theft was reported at 9:39 a.m. at 2203 28th St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 12:51 p.m. at 5319 10th St.

A K-9 callout was utilized in a report of a narcotics violation was reported at 1:33 p.m. Sunday at Aspen Drive and Patton Road.

A narcotics violation was reported at 8:01 p.m. at Ninth St. and Macarthur Road.
