Emergency Medical Service made eight ambulance runs on Friday, April 28, six on Friday and five on Sunday. There were no fires, but an alarm was activated at the Great Bend Events Center at 7:09 p.m. on Saturday.

An injury crash was reported at 11:08 a.m. Friday at Foley Equipment, 701 10th St.
An All Terrain Vehicle accident/incident resulting in injury was reported at 1:17 p.m. Friday at 82 South Washington Ave.
A non-injury crash was reported at South Main and Railroad Ave. at 2:29 p.m.
A fight was reported at 4:07 p.m. Friday at Great Bend Middle School.
Theft of a chainsaw from a vehicle was reported Friday evening at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
A possible attempted warrant scam was reported. This is a telephone scam where the caller pretends to have a warrant that will be issued for the victim’s arrest unless payment is made. No case was taken as there was no loss.
Police received complaints of fireworks or shots fired from 10:22 to 10:38 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of 12th St., 2800 block of 9th St. and 800 block of Madison St.
A domestic disturbance was reported at 1:17 a.m. Saturday at 701 Hubbard St. Raul Rocha was arrested for aggravated domestic battery.
Police received calls from 11:16 a.m. to 11:34 a.m. Saturday concerning subjects allegedly shoplifting items. Three individuals were served with a Notice to Appear (NTA) in municipal court for theft.
A burglary was reported Saturday at Dave’s Trucking, 604 10th St. after tools and other items were taken from the business.
Theft of wheels was reported from a business at 1404 10th St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 6:38 p.m. Saturday at 3rd and Frey St.
Theft of items from a vehicle at 809 Main was reported at 8:08 p.m.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 8:40 p.m. after a vehicle hit a community mailbox at 4th and Maple.
A fight was reported at 1:54 a.m. Sunday in the patio area at Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main.
Police responded to a domestic call at 6:30 a.m. Sunday at 224 Fruit St. and arrested Cristian Cervantes-Macias for aggravated assault.
Theft of a trailer was reported at 8:44 a.m. at 408 Buckeye St.
Shoplifting by an unknown person was reported Sunday evening at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.
