Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Thursday.
A resident reported an unusual smell and wondered if it was gas. Nothing was found; it is believed that the smell was from mosquito spraying that evening.

Several instances of alleged unauthorized use of a credit card were reported
A burglary was reported at 1801 8th St.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:21 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of SW 50 Road.
