Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters had 13 Emergency Medical Service calls on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and nine on Monday.
There was a fire call at 11:06 a.m. Friday to 84 SE 20 Road, that was a controlled burn the property owner forgot to call in. At 5:26 p.m. Friday they were dispatched to a possible fire at 819 Adams St. that turned out to be a barbecue grill. There was also a false alarm at 4401 Prairie Rose Drive on Sunday.
