According to a report from Great Bend Police Chief Steve Haulmark, GBPD officers were dispatched to Kwik Shop, 2337 Main, around 10:48 p.m., in reference to a threat. The victims reported they had been driving on 10th Street when a male in a white F-350 pickup pulled out a gun and brandished it at them. The officers were also advised that the suspect threw a WD40 can at the victim’s car, breaking the headlight, and that he threw a beer bottle at the car, denting the door. The GBPD was assisted by the Hoisington Police Department, who located and detained Roach in their city. He was arrested and transported to the detention center, where he was booked in on Thursday and released after posting a $5,000 surety bond.
