Great Bend Fire and EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made five ambulance runs on Wednesday, Sept. 18, five on Thursday, 10 on Friday, three on Saturday, six on Sunday, and six on Monday. Great Bend Fire Department responded to one citizen’s assist on Friday, and was on standby for Airfest.

K-9 Niko was utilized on a traffic stop at 11:08 a.m. Monday at Lakin Ave. and Van Buren St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:12 p.m. at 18th and Main St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:50 p.m. at Seventh and Main St.

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:56 a.m. Monday at W Barton County Rd. and NW 60 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:50 p.m. at Seventh and Main St.

A fire was reported at 6:11 p.m. in Claflin.

The K-9 unit was utilized at a narcotics violation reported at 7:36 p.m. at 10th and Grant St.
