Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made four ambulance runs on Wednesday. Firefighters responded to arcing wires in the 5000 block of Aspen Dr.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:44 a.m. Wednesday on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 213, Barton County.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 10:41 a.m. at 16th St. and Morton St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:50 p.m. at SE 50 Rd. and SE 50 Ave., Ellinwood.

July 31

7:16 a.m. - Livestock at large was reported at U.S. 156 and 150th Ave.

10:02 a.m. - A motorist assist was executed on U.S. 56 at mile marker 165.

6:57 p.m. - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of K 19 S, Belpre.
