Great Bend Fire and EMS

Great Bend Emergency MEdical Service made five ambulance runs on Friday, six on Saturday, four on Sunday, and five on Monday. Great Bend Fire Department was on standby for the GBHS football jamboree and responded to one call for a gas leak on Friday. Firefighters responded to one fire call at the Diversion Dam on Monday.

K-9 Niko was utilized on a traffic arrest at 5:12 p.m. at Joe Farris Rentals, 714 Stone St.

A theft was reported at 8:07 p.m. at 2112 Main St.

Interference with a law enforcement officer was reported at 9:31 p.m. at 5501 Ninth St. lot four.

A traffic arrest was executed at 11:05 p.m. in the 300 block of W U.S. 56.


Monday Sept. 2

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 1:39 a.m. Monday at 23rd and Monroe St.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 8:41 a.m. at 1215 Stone St.

Damage to a residence was reported at 2:12 p.m. in the 2900 block of Ninth St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 6:01 p.m. at 404 Plum St. The K-9 unit was utilized.

A disturbance was reported at 8:15 p.m. at 2625 Gano St.

A wallet and cash were reported lost at 9:20 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.
