The theft of a personal check was reported at 10:19 a.m. in the 1800 block of White Sands Dr.

A traffic arrest occurred at 12:20 p.m. at Subway Sandwich Shop, 2723 10th St. Alexis Sexton was arrested.

A search warrant was executed at 1:16 p.m. at the Great Bend Police Department, 1121 Baker Ave.

K-9 Niko was called out at 1:33 p.m. to assist in a traffic stop on W. U.S. 56, mile marker 193.

Found property was reported at 1:36 p.m. at Dillons #51, 4107 10th St. Item was booked into evidence.

Trespassing was reported at 5:16 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A missing person/runaway was reported at 5:59 p.m. Runaway was located and served a notice to appear.

A traffic arrest occurred at 6:14 p.m. at NW 10 Rd. and NW 100 Ave.

Taser was deployed at 6:32 p.m. at 61 SW 100 Ave.

K-9 was called out at 10:17 p.m. to a traffic stop at 209 E. U.S. 56, mile marker 209.

Weather-related rollover injures two
KHP patch

ELLSWORTH COUNTY – Two people were injured in a weather-related rollover accident Friday on Interstate 70. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 10:55 a.m. on Feb. 14, 2.4 miles east of K-202 in Ellsworth County. An eastbound 2020 Ford Expedition driven by Michael L. Berkgren, 54, of Oakley came upon a slick spot while snow was blowing across the highway. The vehicle entered the median and struck a drain grate, then went airborne, rolled an unknown number of times, and came to rest on its top in the median.

Berkgren, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Hays Medical Center with what appeared to be serious injuries. Passenger Chelsey Schiltz, 39, also from Oakley, was taken to the hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries. She was wearing a safety restraint.
