Jury convicts Fuller of criminal threat

A Barton County jury convicted Aaron Keith Fuller of two counts of felony criminal threat, at the conclusion of a two-day jury trial in Barton County District Court, according to a statement from the Barton County Attorney’s office received Tuesday afternoon.

Aaron Keith Fuller, 35 of Great Bend, formerly of Stafford, was arrested and booked in the Barton County Jail on charges of criminal threat in August 2023. According to the release, a jury of five men and seven women, along with one male alternate, was selected by both parties. Evidence was presented by Assistant Barton County Attorney Kyle Byfield representing the State of Kansas. The defendant testified on Tuesday morning, followed by closing arguments presented to the jury.

The jury then deliberated 90 minutes before returning their verdicts. The Fuller was represented by Ellinwood attorney Donald Anderson II.
